Still searching for illusive rear bumper

I am still on the search for the illusive rear bumper for my Luv Truck...I would even buy a step stock bumper if I could find one in nice shape. Follow the PDF for a example of what I am looking for.

Scored a nice Luv Tailgate

Scored a nice Chevy Luv tailgate off of Ebay for $75! Looks to be in fairly good shape compared to most I have seen. I will clean it up and install when I receive.

The Chevy Luv still in the works...thumbs up!

The Chevy Luv is still in the works and I hardly have any money in it. I replaced the inner drivers side door guts today....replaced the door release striker and all the bars controlling the window functions and inner and outer door release bars... I managed to get everything working. Now the Chevy Luv drivers side door opens from the inside and the outside! Thumbs up!
I will snap a picture of the old door workings tommorrow. Cheers! Dr. Gullion

HEre are the rear wheels that will go on the back on my Chevy Luv....I am going to have wider tires mounted on the rear in comparison to the front....Ansen slots in the front and American Racing Turbine wheels in the rear....:)

I picked these NOS trnine wheels up for $50!!!

Changed to NOS Kraco Cassette Player on Console

I decided to go with an aftermarket Kraco radio instead of the OEM Honda Cassette one because I found a New Old Stock Kraco cassette marine radio which I really liked and bought 6 of these all at once for $50! Nice deal! I am going to keep 3 for backups and sell the other 3. I might buy another NOS Marine radio lot at $65 if the seller goes for it....then I will have another 10 plain jane cassette players which I am going to make some money on via Ebay. Nice Kraco radio! Thumbs up!

Overhead Console for the Luv

Ok--I have amassed a bunch of old school vintage car audio equipment and it is time to build my overhead console. I am going to put a OEM 2000 Honda Civic AM FM head unit in it paired with a separate Honda cassette player, an early 1980s Panasonic Equalizer, 2 6 inch KRaco speakers, and a 1987 Toyota MR2 dome light with switch. I decided to go with an OEM Honda radio head unit rather than an aftermarket due to durability of the OEM unit. I have not had a lot of luck with aftermarket cassette players. If the HOnda unit goes out I can pick another up off of Ebay for $5....they are cheap and most of the cassette platers have not even been used! I am going to cover the overhead console with padded black vinyl....Thumbs up! Here are pictures of all the pieces being used.

Ran across a picture of an old school Chevy Luv in the same color as mine. Lose the fender flares, and sun visor and this thing would be perfect! I really like the old turbine rims! I have a set of Shelby slot rims on my Luv...although I am looking for 1976 Chevy Luv heart rims which I want to get blasted and powder coated light blue to match my Luv. Thumbs up!
