Everything Mechanical Web Site Gone --Final Update on My Projects

Well I am finally through selling car parts. :) I have officially closed and deleted my Everything Mechanical Web Site. After running the site for almost 2 years I grew tired of it. The few remaining parts I have will be sold on Ebay or thrown away. This is also the last entry concerning my projects on this blog for the time being.

Happy Motoring!

SHO SOLD AND GONE..GOOD RIDDENS

The SHO was sold on Ebay and was picked up last night...good riddens to that car! Expensive ride to maintain! Yet another money pit gone....:)

Ready to get back to work on trailer

I am ready to get back to work on the bed trailer. As soon as I have some extra time to spare I am going to finish the passenger side of the trailer and move to the other side. More to come....

The SHO will sell

I have an initial bid on the SHO so she will sell. I took the SHO for a drive today...drove like a dream! Someone is going to get a nice car! I have had a lot if interest and have received several phone calls on it as well. One bidder said he will place a bid a the very end of the auction...minimum of $1500 so we shall see how this auction plays out. Thumbs up!

Tons of interest in the SHO

I have had a ton of interest in the SHO on Ebay! I have several people watching the auction, several have called asking questions..one guy wanted to buy it now but I told him to just bid and let the auction ride! I am surprised that noone has pulled the trigger yet and placed a bid with the amount of interest which has been shown...go figure??? I was not really certain if it would even sell on Ebay but I may be pleasantly surprised in the end. We shall see......

Sho and Luv both on Ebay

I have both the SHO and the Luv listed on Ebay. Ebay ran a $1 listing insertion fee so I snapped a few dirty pictures and listed both vehicles. I really have nothing to loose..both vehicles are listed at the minimum price I would take for each. If the luv sells I am keeping the headache rack. I would like to free myself up from car/truck projects to pursue other interests right now. I doubt they will sell on Ebay but I might get lucky.

I would like to complete the restoration of my Courier truck bed trailer in the next few months and start using it. I am also working on starting a business doing some photo journalism writing for a few magazines, so my projects need a new home. Of course I am not giving up on the car scene...I am just taking a break from the grease, grime, rust, paint, sanding, bondo, and cuts! :)

I will continue piddling with smaller projects so this site will still concern Greg's Garage content! I am thinking about incorporating car scene photo journalism into this blog. More to come...

Remarks on Dennis Gages new show

I watched Dennis Gage's new show this morning..."trippin on two wheels". I give the show 7 out of 10. I think they need to talk to more people in the show...seems like a lot of monuments and landscape more than anything else. The sites are nice if you are actually there but it just seems like the show needs more personality. I will not give up on the show and will continue to watch it. Thumbs up!

Selling my 89 SHO

I am selling my 89 SHO. Nice driving car just needs some minor bodywork and fresh paint. I am downsizing on the car projects in order to fullfill one of my 2008 new years resolutions. My cash price is $1750...worth every penny. If someone is interested please contact. For sale locally and afar! A few pics coming soon!

Long shot but I have this SHO listed on Ebay now...Ebay offered a $1 insertion fee to put it on there so you cant beat that!..I doubt it will sell but good advertising nonetheless. I am taking the long steady approach..:)

Its been a few weeks since my last post. Not much going on other than I have been working on the new bed trailer and bought a few hubcaps for the garage. Check out this 1937 hubcap which I have been working on...it was completely covered with tar when I got it. I bought it for $7...it weighs quite a bit. By the way...the center is not chrome..that is stainless!
